[Barrie, ON] – As a proud member of the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI), Brotech Precision CNC will be part of an expert panel during the OCNI ATP webinar: Electronic Quality Assurance Process.

The OCNI Advanced Technologies and Process Council (ATP) is sponsoring this webinar as part of an “ATP webinar series” that will educate OCNI members on the applications of new technologies to improve efficiency, ensure quality and reduce costs throughout the nuclear supply chain.

“This is obviously a very important subject, and we are honored that the OCNI has asked us to be part of this panel. We are really looking forward to sharing ideas with like-minded people in the industry, ”said Jerome Horowitz, President of Brotech Precision CNC Inc.

As one of the leading precision CNC machining and assembly companies in Ontario, Brotech has many partners and customers in the nuclear industry, with 25 years of experience as a machining partner for businesses. Specifically, this includes a partnership with Bruce Power for the exclusive manufacture of shielding plug assemblies as part of the six unit RCM life extension project.

“It is a very exciting time in the nuclear industry. Given global energy shortages, nuclear is proving to be inexpensive and clean. Process automation will help continue to manage costs in the industry, ”said Horowitz. Brotech is doing some very exciting things to streamline its own operations. By taking advantage of Microsoft Power Automate, they were able to reduce the time spent on a number of tedious and paper-intensive tasks.

“I am really excited about what we have done and what we are planning to do. We don’t want this to be our exclusive secret. We believe it can help nuclear companies and we are more than happy to discuss it with anyone who wants to know more.
