If you want to know how to wash a pillow, we’ve got you covered.

When should you replace your pillow?

If your pillow still doesn’t look good, it might be time to invest in a new one. Depending on the type of pillow you have, the padding can flatten out, lumps and bumps can form, and it can lose its support.

If you’re not sure, try the fold test if you have a cotton or polyester pillow – fold it in half and if it stays in place you need a new one. For other types of pillows such as down or memory foam, they won’t feel as good as they did before. You might wake up with neck pain or notice lumps in the filling. If so, go for a new pillow.
